A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 2024 Cowichan Life Cyclers Team Sponsors

July 12, 2024 By Kacey Nicholson

We are one week away from the of the 11th Annual Cycle of Life Tour July 20th & 21st benefiting hospice care on Vancouver Island and we are deeply grateful to our 2024 team sponsors!

Sponsors of the Cowichan Life Cyclers never tire of doing good, it’s just how they roll!

Their willingness to support hospice care encourages the Cowichan Life Cyclers  to pedal with purpose, knowing every kilometer ridden, every dollar raised brings comfort and care to those facing life-limiting illnesses, and provides support to caregivers, family and friends, and to anyone grieving in our community.

Please give a cheer and a hearty round of applause to our 10 generous team sponsors!

Generosity: Blazing the Trail with Community Spirit!

A message to our 2024 Cowichan Life Cyclers Team Sponsors:
Your belief in our mission fuels our determination to continue advocating for hospice care and making a positive impact in our community, it allows us to make a tangible difference in improving the quality of life for hospice patients and their families, providing comfort, dignity, and support for the journey at the end-of-life.

Whether through financial support, an in-kind donation or by providing space and bikes to spin a donation duel, your generosity embodies the spirit of our community and promotes the Cowichan region’s culture of togetherness by helping to ensure hospice care in the region remains accessible for everyone.

We are profoundly grateful for your generous contributions. Thank you.

Riding for Legacies and Loved Ones

11 years ago, the Cycle of Life Tour began when one man died, and another man chose to ride in his honor to raise money for hospice care. On July 20th, 185 Cycle of Life Tour riders from around Vancouver Island will strap on a helmet, step up to the spokes, hop on the best seat outside of the house, and ride nearly 200 km over two days to raise funds for compassionate, person-centered hospice care that supports the journey to end-of-life and the bereavement that follows.

Many riders will carry with them the legacy of a loved one,
all of them will carry their hopes for the future of hospice care.

If you feel inspired, and share in our hope for the future of hospice care, support the Cowichan Life Cyclers  as they prepare for a weekend of tough cycling. Visit their team page to contribute to the cause and read the rider profiles to find out what inspires them to ride.

While you are there, think about what hospice means to you, and if you like share your story with us: Share my Hospice Story.
