This whimsical drama follows the fantastic voyage of a young Canadian-Italian woman named Anna who travels to Puglia to scatter the ashes of her late mother. During her journey, Anna learns about the mysterious disappearance of her eccentric father, a Dutch farmer who traveled to the village on bicycle after a catastrophic flood in his hometown and the story behind his booming tulip business, the mafioso and even an exploding cave.
