This documentary tells the remarkable true story, during the 911 crisis, when the citizens of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed more than 6,500 frightened, exhausted and hungry passengers who “came from away” around the world. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.
