May 5-11 is National Hospice Palliative Care week.
In honour of this, we are pleased to share with you this podcast, Grief is an Ocean, with guest speaker Heather McLeod. Many of you will know Heather and her late husband Brock, Cowichan locals and former Cowichan Hospice clients.
Heather shares memories of her life with Brock, what it was like when they learned Brock had a life-threatening illness, and their family’s experience with Brock’s journey with end-of-life.
